Vacuum

To close the Darling Foundry exhibition, the Récubec company came to vacuum the installation “Sugar carpet 3”. In making the dismounting process part of the work’s production, the vacuuming of the carpet by two workers reframed the place of its disappearance by returning the object back to is usual production cycle (labour). Serendipitously, the sugar was recycled to nourish bacteria which are used to decontaminate water.
